UN inspectors made their first visit to recently disclosed second nuclear enrichment facility near the town of Qom. According to the , the facility is named Fordo, after the village that had the largest percentage of fighters killed in the Iran-Iraq war. Inspectors are expected to complete a report on the site after they leave Iran later this week. This inspection comes the week after a meeting in Zurich where Iran announced that rather than exporting 75% of its low enriched uranium for reprocessing, it would rather buy highly enriched uranium on the open market.
