U.S. Soldiers Killed by Interpreter

Two U.S. soldiers were killed by an interpreter at an outpost in the eastern part of Afghanistan known as the Wardak province. NATO officials are unsure as to why the interpreter shot the soldiers. However, a military official says that the shooter seemed to be an unhappy employee rather than a militant.

This comes after a recent attack in the same province that killed four Afghan soldiers in an air strike. These events, however, were deemed unrelated.
