U.S. military prosecutors are seeking additional charges against Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al Qosi, a Sudanese detainee accused of being Osama bin Laden’s bodyguard. Though the new charges have not been released, al Qosi is alrady charged with Conspiracy and Material Support for Terrorism. The US alleges that al Q0si was an accountant for al Qaeda and attended training camps held by al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The expanded charges come after numerous procedural delays initiated by the government Attorney General Eric Holder recently announced that al Qosi was one the detainees destined for military tribunals in the United States.
