Two Hamas Leader Murder Suspects Possibly in US

Of the twenty-six possible suspects sought by the Dubai police for participating in the killing of a Hamas leader, at least two may have entered the United States shortly after the killing. Officials believe the suspects entered the US separately, one on a British passport, and one on an Irish passport, but there is no record of either man leaving the country.

The Dubai police chief is making accusations of Israeli involvement, but other officials are focused on identifying and naming the individual suspects before tracking the sponsoring organization. As the United States and Israel have been at odds over future Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, possible Israeli involvement in the killing of the senior Hamas leader would further strain US-Israeli relations.
