Taliban Continues Attacks in Pakistan
A suicide bomber killed at least twelve people in northern Pakistan early Sunday morning. The Taliban took credit for the attack, which occurred in the town of Adazai.
Among the fatalities was the mayor of Adazai, Abdul Malik, who had recently taken action to protect his town by setting up a militia against the Taliban. Malik was reportedly the primary target of the attack.
The Taliban has killed hundreds of people throughout Pakistan since early October, including an Oct. 28 terror strike in nearby Peshawar that took more than a hundred lives.
