Possible runoff election in Afghanistan

Said Tayeb Jawad, Afghanistan’s ambassador to the United States, said in an interview Wednesday that the Karzai government is preparing for a runoff election. Although a runoff could add legitimacy to the Afghan government, it might delay President Obama’s decision to increase troop levels in Afghanistan. Read more at NYTimes.
