Israel has released documents and photos that it says provides proof that the massive weapons shipment intercepted last week came from Iran. The ship seized was reportedly carrying 500 tons of Iranian-made weapons intended for Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon. Among the evidence released by the Israeli military was a manifest stating the ship originated in Isfahan, Iran, as well as a customs form stamped by Iranian Armed Forces. Both Iran and Hezbollah have continued to deny Israel’s claims that they were behind the shipment.
