Since the turmoil of this summer in which the people came to the streets in Iran and called the election of Ahmadenijad a fraud, the regime took a heavy handed approach to silence the protestors of the so called “Green Movement.” In an effort to frighten and quiet the people, more people have been executed for their participation in the protests. Iran is second only to China in the number of people it executes every year, according to Amnesty International.
