Behavior Analysis Involved in TSA Screening

The TSA has stationed specially trained agents at 161 airports nationwide to seek out individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior in airports.  The TSA stresses that it is not seeking out individuals of any individual race or ethnicity, but rather behavior that it deems questionable, such as nervousness or anxiety.  The TSA uses a set of behavioral guidelines and deems airplane passengers “suspicious” if they stray from those guidelines.
