CNN has reported the bank account holdings of numerous elite members of the Iranian regime. The information was given to CNN by a Green Movement supporter who had access to the information from a Malaysian bank. Among the charges of corruption by the Iranian regime in dealing with its human rights violations, fraudulent elections, and internal turmoil, there have been countless charges of embezzlement of funds from oil revenues and taxes has been unaccounted for. The accounts detail millions upon millions of dollars sprinkled throughout banks in Europe and the Middle East tied to a wide range of Iranian religious clerics, members of the Basiji, and politicians.
