476 Arrested in Nationwide Drug Raids

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials arrested 476 people last week, targeting those with ties to several international drug-trafficking gangs. The roundup, termed “Project Big Freeze”, occurred in over 83 cities nationwide, constituting the largest operation conducted by ICE. Of those arrested, 151 are U.S. citizens, and 366 foreign nationals face deportation proceedings and/or criminal prosecution.
